- f1shy 11mo agoIs clear that the guy has some money to invest in those experiments. But apart from that, what he does, is so many different topics, is just mind blowing. Even if I had the money and space he has, I could never ever do what he does. From some videos is clear how much perseverance he has, often he reports about months and months of failure after failure, until he succeeds. I think THAT is the most impressive part of his videos, and what I try to learn from.
- ZiiS 11mo agoOne of the few points maintaining faith in humanity; is there are companies happy to pay you that money if you can do what he does.
- f1shy 11mo agoIn his case, google.
- extraduder_ire 11mo agoI think he stopped working at google a few years ago to focus on these projects full time.
- f1shy 11mo agoI did not know. If so, any idea how he pays for it? I know he worked at Valve, then he had his own company (something about building prostheses, and the last was google.
- extraduder_ire 11mo agoHe does have over a thousand paying members on patreon, so I assume that's a big chunk of it. The list of names at the end of his videos has some other youtubers I recognise.
