- sleepyguy 11mo agoThere is no other nation on earth that has suffered more bombardment than Ukraine. The Russians have shelled Ukraine with over 100 million shells. There were days where they would fire over 30k shells. People in the West just don't understand what happened and is happening over there. The mines that have been laid will take 100 years to clear. The environmental damage will last centuries. Gaza could be rebuilt in a couple of years, it will take Ukraine decades.
- c0balt 11mo agoRegardless of the damage in Ukraine, rebuilding the damage in the Gaza strip will take decades not years. Rebuilding a single city alone will take years to decades, recovering the economy et al will take a lot longer. Outside help can accelerate this but rebuilding & fixing after a war is generally not fast.
