This is a fascinating read, and it sounds plausible that we can achieve hugely more powerful rockets.
However, what about the problem of space dust - where encountering a single grain of sand at speed would yield the force of a nuclear detonation?
And how might the fragile human body withstand the forces of antimatter propulsion?
I'm interested to learn about our progress towards building Star Trek's "deflector" and "inertial dampner" if anyone has insight?
