My study finds AI can replace 96.83% of U.S. study makers
- xhkkffbf 11mo agoI love that it's not 11% but 11.7% even though it's all just guesses. Somehow they have that much precision.
- cinntaile 11mo agoThey should give us a span that they believe in and then we check in a few years how accurate their guess was.
- lo_zamoyski 11mo agoBy then, they will have received their promotions and salary bumps and it won't matter.
- pydry 11mo agoThere was a previous study that said 47% by 2033: https://fortune.com/2015/04/22/robots-white-collar-ai/ https://fortune.com/2015/04/22/robots-white-collar-ai/ It predates LLMs so they werw predicting that poets and artists would be the last jobs to be automated. Which is kinda funny. Economists' predictions about investors' wet dreams have always been a little bit whimsical.
