At $WORK-1 we had to log into the console almost every day as part of our normal daily operations anyway. However I rarely log into my personal AWS account console, the bill is 70-80cts/mo (mostly S3 storage fees, pretty stable over time).
If I were hosting something subject to potential egress overconsumption, it’d be interested I guess
- bval 11mo agoAt my work we only use console for troubleshooting as everything is automated using terraform. I pitched the idea to my manager he mentioned a slack message would be good as we have the accounts separated by team, so each team would get a notification on their slack channel as they are responsible and have budget. Thanks for the feedback.
