Nobody is all-in on Anna's Archive and it has no political capital. AI cannot be allowed to fail at this point; and it's likely OCLC would suffer more in the short-term if they set a successful anti-AI precedent and crash the economy as a result, so they too have an incentive to play it strategically and slowly negotiate a settlement/royalties down the line without rocking the boat.
