I both 100% agree with you and also don't think our opinion matters. The general consumer isn't going to hear "the manufacturer hasn't upstreamed stable drivers to the kernel" and suddenly stop blaming Linux if the hardware works in Windows.

The general consumer does not install an os and hardware with linux reinstalled tends not to have these problems
