how can you comment on hacker news that you don't consume news?
- jonasdegendt 11mo agoI'd argue it's mostly trade news here, I'd assume the OP means commercial broadcasting, newspaper websites and the likes. Very different for your psyche in my experience.

- kristianp 11mo agoThey're definitely talking about the news. The daily news isn't good for your mental health. Many alarmist stories and polarising ones on regular news sites and tv news.
