> Swiss cheese model I always thought that before the "Swiss cheese model" introduced in the 1990s that the term Swiss cheese was used to mean something that had oodles of security holes(flaws). Perhaps I find the metaphor weird because pre-sliced cheese was introduced later in my life (processed slices were in my childhood, but not packets of pre-sliced cheese which is much more recent).
