The deadline for comments was November 17.
- iamnothere 11mo agoIt’s December 2 as explained in the article and the page on regulations.gov. Where do you see Nov 17?
- johnea 11mo agoVia the link in the article to: Revision to Rules of Practice Before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/10/17/2025-19580/revision-to-rules-of-practice-before-the-patent-trial-and-appeal-board https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/10/17/2025-19... It would be nice to have some confirmation, but I'm assuming there was an extension. Given that EFF and the comment form at regulations.gov cite Dec 2nd. - greensoap 11mo agoThere was an extension. I don't have link handy, but an extra 15 days were provided.
- adrianmonk 10mo agoAfter you click the "SUBMIT A PUBLIC COMMENT" button (on the page you linked), you then see a message that says, "Comments are due 12/02/2025 at 11:59 pm EST." I think a better UI design would be to show that info before you press the button, but my main point is that they are apparently still accepting comments.
- dcassett 11mo agoAs of now the web page indicates "Comment Period Ends: 12 Days"
