LOL, it is the other way around: do you have sources that selling software is not legally entitled to technical support? And proton/wine is unreliable in time

And proton/wine is unreliable in time (I know) as compat can be broken at the first unfortunable patch proton side or game side, hence compat can be broken way after the 'refund period'. This is 101 playing a game nowdays: those patches DO happen.
To be that much dishonnest and hypocrit: are you an AI?
- npteljes 11mo agoI don't appreciate the insults. And no, that's not how it works. You have the original claim, that support is "requirement in tons of countries around the world". Software in my experience, unless b2b or otherwise explicitly part of a contract, NEVER comes with any kind of support, or guarantee.
- sylware 11mo agoOk, AI full of lies and sleaziness. Done.
- npteljes 11mo agoIf you ever want to discuss the actual issue instead of spiraling, let me know. Bring sources. Until then, good luck out there.
- sylware 11mo agoI am not the one denying the existence of legally required technical support effort of a sold product. I am not the weirdo here... I rarely encounter HN accounts that much dishonnest and hypocrit (usually, it is a pack of accounts with probably AIs).
- npteljes 11mo agoYou’ve repeated the claim without evidence and added personal insults. If you want this to be a real discussion, stop the bad faith, and support your argument properly.
