Samsung seems to have all sorts of security issues. I haven't spent any time investigating, because I believe that privacy is nonexistent, but my Samsung phones have always enabled by default, a backup of everything I have (including the removable uSD cards) to a server in South Korea. Even when I've disabled this behavior, it seems to persist at some level. I live in the US BTW.
