I hate that. I had an old suv that would throw errors about the suspension. Turns out there are lots of systems on a car that you can't diagnose with standard OBD2 readers. Same with transmission, etc. As a matter of fact, don't know why all of this isn't easily available to the owner, not just a code, but a full message.
