Learning LISP, Fortran, APL, Perl, or really any language that is different from what you’re used to, will also do this for you.
- userbinator 11mo agoI'd add Prolog to that list; but Fortran and Perl aren't all that different from other procedural languages.

- jamiejquinn 11mo agoI agree, I love zig but the things that make me program differently are features like excellent enum/union support, defer and comptime, which aren't readily available in the other languages I tend to use (C++, Fortran and Python).
