Ask HN: What's a good app for recording YouTube tech videos?

2 points by eibrahim 11mo ago

I've been wanting to create my own YouTube videos for a long time. Mostly programming and technical videos. What is a good (and easy) software to use? I want to record my screen and easily edit and publish without spending hours doing it.

Which ones have you tried so far?

For recording OBS is pretty much the standard. Editing depends on the workflow

For editing I used https://www.shotcut.org/ https://www.shotcut.org/ , not easy, but there are just too many things to configure.
