I don't think everyone has, which is concerning. I suspect we'll see some congresspeople remark on how they "never voted for" some aspects of the bill.
- munk-a 11mo agoIgnorance is not a defense for breaking a law and I do hold my politicians (and hope other voters also hold their politicians) to a similar standard when it comes to passing a bill. Lawmakers exist because we've all got food to put on the table and can't handle the constant effort required to understand the intricacies and implications of legal code maintenance - it's the job they've been hired to do and if they're not doing it they shouldn't have that job anymore.
