Buses are terrible too

  Now account for how many vehicles we can get off the road if we have proper bus service, and the impact on pedestrians and cyclists. Or consider the licensing requirements (class 2 + an air brake endorsement here in BC), and how difficult it is to buy, and store, a 40' bus, compared to any modern truck. This is a daft comparison that only serves to muddy the waters, and attempts to excuse excessively large modern trucks

  A bus provides equivalent utility to maybe 20-40 cars and is driven by a professional driver, so I'm not too worried.
