Measuring urban noise from my home in Brazil

  I’ve always lived on main streets, but I never tried to measure how constant the noise really is. So I downloaded audio from a security camera and built a small site that shares my experience of living on a noisy avenue in Brazil. All recordings are anonymized. It’s interesting to see how the noise changes throughout the day.

      Trying to anonimize the data, smooth the sound a little bit haha. Keep in mind the intensity but imagine sirens and loud cars instead

        That makes sense. Anonymizing turned noise into some beautiful ocean waves, lol!
