Compounding pharmacies are regulated by section 503 of the FD&C act, and also subject to inspection. Are you referring to the fact that the FDA does not inspect all facilities because they have limited resources? This applies to pharmaceutical companies as much as it does to compounders. If you think the FDA posts inspectors at every pharmaceutical company in India, you’d be wrong.
