- brigandish 11mo agoIt helps to mention what TMAO is: > Choline is a dietary precursor to the gut microbial generation of the pro-thrombotic and pro-atherogenic metabolite trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO).
- JKCalhoun 11mo agoHelped a little?
- JKCalhoun 11mo agoMy takeaway: do please go ahead and add egg to your diet.
- tucnak 11mo agoBig Egg paid you to say this, didn't they?
- DANmode 11mo agoI do prefer a Big Egg. Brown ones, too. I haven’t looked, but I bet that tracks with nutritional value.
- ndsipa_pomu 11mo agoThere's no nutritional difference between brown and white eggs
- tucnak 11mo agoExactly something that the white egg-faction of Big Egg cartel would pay you to say.
- ndsipa_pomu 11mo agoDagnammit - they're onto us and our misinformation campaign. Best get back to just painting them brown.
- DANmode 11mo agoBut brown does usually mean "biggest egg you're going to get here"!
- ndsipa_pomu 11mo agoYep brown eggs are laid by brown/red coloured breeds which do tend to be larger than white hens. They have the same nutritional profile though.

- majso 11mo agoIt seems that the active form of choline, phosphatidylcholine, also did not increase TMAO levels.
