As a man locked inside of a closet made mostly of XSL, my only regret is that I can't drown it in a bathtub myself.
The XML Priesthood will immediately jump down your throat about "XSL 3 Fixes All Things" or "But You're Not Doing It Correctly", and then point towards a twenty year old project that has five different proprietary dependencies, only two of which even still have a public cost. "Email Jack for Pricing".
And all this time, the original publishing requirement for these stone age pipelines is completely subsumed by the lightweight markup ecosystem of the last decade, or, barring that, that of TeX. So much complexity for no reason whatsoever, I am watching man-centuries go up in frickin' smoke, to satisfy a clique of semantic academics who think all human thought is in the form of a tree.
The horror, the horror.
