I've been looking for a rich text editor for linux - I got sick of OpenOffice's load times (47sec) and seeing Oracle's logo. It was inconceivable to me that MS has a webapp version of Word. Unfortunately, it takes 27sec to load a document (in chrome, slower in firefox). Abiword takes only 7sec (though the rendering is bit buggy sometimes, and it doesn't selects words when you x2 click).
