Let's flag comments like these because they come from users who do everything they can to get moderators to ban user accounts that contribute a lot to good discussions on the site. They haven't even bothered to look at the relevant content that I've published here and have come right out and judged it, how stupid!
- ThrowawayR2 1y agoGood luck with that. The above poster made a submission entitled "Ask HN: What can I do with the karma I've accumulated in my Hacker News account?" where he straight up asks "would I be able to promote any of my products or would I be banned for doing so?": https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41979929 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41979929. Their contributions are only intended to disguise their self-promotional activities and they don't even pretend to hide it. Of course, if anyone at all feels above characterization is inaccurate, please do feel free to contact the HN site administrators directly to ask them to look into the situation.
