Has China found a way to make your drugs cheaper? Scientists think so
- ggm 11mo agoNot a chemist or a biochemist, but I would love to know if different pathways to synthesis make different shaped molecules with different "oh that's irrelevant" extras and salts and chirality. Because I've taken a drug which I am told was just an isomer of the old now generic drug, but more effective. Which suggests small differences can have big effects. And, i assume not always positive ones. One for Derek Lowe maybe.
