Personally, I prefer the 2nd or 3rd week of the month timing of this post. HN only has a few of these kinds of things (Who is hiring, who wants to be hired) so doing this one at the same time is a distraction in my opinion. It would be nice also if only one person posts this so we don't end up having multiple posts spaced too close together. I really enjoy the "What are you working on" posts and would hate to see it diluted to nothing.
