  Beat me to it. This is my go-to analogy for people who don't understand the problem. I am 100% certain I've violated North Korean law by posting mean things about Dear Leader. I couldn't care less. If I were to find myself in NK, I'm sure I'd care a lot, but that's not going to happen, so I don't. If I'm not afraid of violating NK law — because I'll never, ever be there — then the same logic holds for the laws of every other country I won't be visiting.
