- SilverElfin 11mo agoI believe this is the same ongoing investigation from earlier in the year, where Chinese nationals were alleged to have smuggled in materials that can be used for agricultural terrorism (https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/04/us/chinese-researchers-smuggle-pathogen-university-of-michigan https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/04/us/chinese-researchers-smuggl...). The newly charged individuals I think are additional participants in this scheme.
