If we go back to the origin of the conflict though, the real origins, then fact is Palestinians had a country and then the Brits and the early zionists decided it was going to be the jew's.
And since then it has been a systematic, gradual, takeover of the land and the culture of the palestinians.
Palestinians aren't the aggressors, they are the victims, thoses are the facts, you can try however you want, trying to says "yes but the thora says" I don't care about thousands of years ago, I do care about 70 years ago.
In any cases, everyone knows this, the whole world, Israel will always be a nation of murderers that cannot be trusted.
- flyinglizard 11mo ago>> then fact is Palestinians had a country Say what? There was never a Palestinian country, and not only that but the "Palestinians" as a nation didn't exist before the conflict with Israel. There were only families and tribes moving across the broader Ottoman empire.
- grimblee 11mo agoYou can put on your glasses and go as much "achtually" as you want it doesn't change the fact these people lived there for generation and one day zionists came to take their land, with the uk backing them up. The original aggression was on the colonists part, not the local people. Imagine, you lived your while life somewhere, then one day I come, I take your land and I kill your people, then I label any retaliation as "terrorism" and "antisemitism" justifiying your massacre. I don't think you would find that normal and sit by idly, nobody on this planet would. This hypocrisy is so disgusting, I can't even put words on it.
- flyinglizard 11mo agoThat one is also wrong, because Jews before the war of 1948 largely bought their land, not expelled anyone by force. Most expulsions happened during the violence of the 1948 war (started by the Arabs). There were several Jewish institutions and donors which facilitated buying the land (like the JNF which lives to this day). And it started back at the time of Ottomans, not Brits. I take it that you have strong feelings about it, but there's also established history that should be respected.
