- Zigurd 11mo agoWe're not abysmally embarrassed yet when it comes to NATO?

- IAmBroom 11mo agoBoth can be true. Most of NATO underdelivers on their payments. And the US treats its active military like cattle... Oops, forget that. Cattle aren't put on cheap diets.
- Zigurd 11mo agoAmerica would pay a pretty high price were Russia to dominate Europe. That's a fair point regarding the UK. Poland has always understood the assignment, and this year Germany got on board. Ivan isn't 10 feet tall either.

Archive.org still has it (see the section at the bottom "Running list of German support organizations for your kit bags"): https://web.archive.org/web/20251105103925/https://home.army.mil/bavaria/about/shutdown-guidance https://web.archive.org/web/20251105103925/https://home.army...
- cosmicgadget 11mo agoIt's probably even worse that to save face, they're hiding those links to important resources.
- more_corn 11mo agoWhy wouldn’t it be true? You know they’re not getting paid right? Theres some tiff around tax cuts for the wealthy or healthcare for the poor.
