Tell HN: Ublock Origin stopped working with Youtube
All video links and play results in: `Uncaught TypeError: can't access property "length", args is undefined` if you are on Firefox and have ublock origin turned on.
So the game begins again.
- Aperocky 1y agoThis seems to be restricted to firefox.
- jvergeldedios 1y agoYep also happening to me on Firefox w/ uBlock Origin turned on.
- Aperocky 1y agoLooks like a manual delete/reinstall of ublock fixed it.
- jvergeldedios 1y agoHey that worked, thanks!
- Aco- 1y agoyep, that fixed it -- thx
- mc_ 1y agoHappening with AdNauseum enabled too: https://github.com/dhowe/AdNauseam/issues/2692 https://github.com/dhowe/AdNauseam/issues/2692
- brazukadev 1y agoFloorp (Firefox-based) also stopped working. Great, time to stop watching youtube.
- fibheark 1y agoDisabling "uBlock filters – Quick fixes" works without any ads playing. It's unclear about if this re-enables YouTube trackers.
- drdo 1y agoI had the same issue but updating uBlock fixed it.
