The actual point of enforcing absurd laws is to remind Britons that they are subservient to the all-powerful government. It’s not about the coffee, it’s a humiliation ritual to keep the people in check.
- Festro 1y agoThe lady got the fine reversed and an apology. The local council was humiliated by the whole affair. There are many ways to describe the British government, "all-powerful" is not one of them.
