I just watched this right after reading Bret Victor's Learnable Programming essay (http://worrydream.com/LearnableProgramming/ http://worrydream.com/LearnableProgramming/). The dissonance between Bret's visions and where even a quite progressive modern IDE is at disturbed me deeply. Nothing that Chris showed was "trivial" when seen from the perspective of how things might be rather than how Eclipse does things.
