Yeah, but we're not discussing all the things that might happen, were disusing whats most likely to happen. In my opinion nothing, because its most likely that people building AI are going to be very careful to make sure it aligns with their goals.
It will be super smart, but it will be a slave.
- WhyOhWhyQ 1y agoTheir idea is that each year the model from last year is exponentially cheaper to run. If we're putting faith in what the people building it believe, then why aren't we paying attention to their beliefs? It is becoming exponentially cheaper to run, so everybody will be running the frontier model equivalent locally two years from now.
