It's always striking how much easier cross-team work is when teams are both open and transparent. If a team actively shares its completed work _and_ each team reports its week-to-week work openly within the company in a system shared with other teams, it doesn't matter if there's a silo or a commune or whatever. Meanwhile, every time I get dragged into a private group DM at work for something that doesn't need privacy, I want to quit.
