Swerving to avoid x but hitting y has a greater than 0 chance of causing an accident which is fatal for the vehicle's occupants. I'm not saying it's likely, I'm saying a human will make that call in the moment, and we may judge that human for the decision. But how do you feel if a self-driving car is making that decision?
