Which country do you live in that pays for gene therapies or other biologics?
- diob 1y agoI love that you're thinking this is what USA insurance companies are denying, not simple diagnostics / medications that save lives.
- 15155 1y agoThe point is that there's a value judgment being made somewhere - who should be the arbiter and why? Diagnostics aren't free, either: many (most?) countries do not have anything remotely resembling the private offerings that Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp provide (breadth of tests, 3+ different methodologies for some tests, etc.)
