The sitting president of the United States is taking bribes in exchanges for presidential pardons, committing securities fraud himself, etc. As long as you buy enough of trumps “stablecoin” to earn his favor, the SEC isn’t gonna touch you.
- toomuchtodo 1y agoStatute of limitations for federal securities fraud is generally five years from the date of the alleged fraud under 29 USC § 2462, and these suits are adjudicated under the judicial branch. Regime change will come eventually.
- johnnyanmac 1y agoEventually. We also had 4-5 years to prosecute one person who insighted an insurrection and we couldn't do that. They will definitely try to stall any consequenes out.
