- runjake 14y agoIt's essentially malware. It'd be more useful if it used the string that displays the IMEI of the vulnerable device, but the author has unfortunately chosen a more destructive route. As a side note the author works at GoCardless.com, a YC-alumnus. Quite embarrassing.
- jamescun 14y agoI don't think the writers employer has anything to do with it. I'm sure malware writers have been employed by everything from charities to hospitals.
