China is much more protectionist and you can't sell into it from the outside easily. US tariffs don't even come close to their tariff and non-tariff barriers. If you think of <20% tariff as Groupon discounts for US consumers buying a bunch of products together, it is likely a more than acceptable trade for many businesses.
