ASK HN: How to Make Connections?
Hi, I am trying everything possible to create a genuine connection, but I'm unable to. I post on social media, Reddit, message on YC, and more. But still not able to make. Like Most of the people never respond. What should I do?
I am making my startup in finance, so I need connections in order to do things further.

- Hendrikto 11mo agoIf you want “genuine connection”, there is no surrogate for in person meetings. You very likely won’t ever get that from any online portal.
- Tanishmittal 11mo agoYou mean I have to go for physical meetups?
- Hendrikto 11mo agoIt does not necessarily have to be organized meetups, but you need physical presence if you actually want to form any deeper connections, in my experience.
