- zippyman55 1y agoI liked over the board tournaments but found it difficult to spend a weekend playing four games. When I play over the board, I prefer rapid or blitz chess, 3 or 5 minutes max per side for the game. Tournaments are just a few hours. I immensely love the interaction with my real opponent.
- wmwragg 1y agoI created a smaller version of chess called Mischia[1], mainly for casual games, but except for the opening phase it tries to play like normal chess. Games usually last 15 to 20 minutes. [1] https://www.chessvariants.com/rules/mischia https://www.chessvariants.com/rules/mischia
