We had one last year and followed the directions exactly. The stones came out very smooth but cloudy and dull. Not sure what went wrong.

- debo_ 1y agoIf you want a cheap trick, take the cloudy stones and put them in a clear glass jar with water. They are usually lustrous when wet, and the jar can serve as a decorative item in a bathroom or something. I've thought of coloring the water, too, to see how that turns out.
