Are pre-emptive pardons a common thing for American presidents to do?
- ModernMech 11mo agoOnly when the incoming administration labelled your family a "crime family" and led stadiums to chants of "lock them up".
- jyounker 11mo agoNo. Absolutely not. I can't think of anyone using a pre-emptive pardon until Trump's first Presidency. Sadly I think Biden's choice was completely rational given how Trump is weaponizing the US justice system.
