Hi everyone, we just launched Kunobi — a desktop app that helps engineers understand and operate Kubernetes and GitOps without losing Git-first workflows.
We built it out of frustration with switching between Lens, K9s, Flux CLI, and Argo UI just to see what’s deployed or out of sync. Kunobi connects directly to clusters through the Kubernetes API, running locally (no data leaves your machine).
It lets you:
Explore workloads, namespaces, and clusters with full context
View Flux and Argo states, check syncs, and reconcile instantly
See Helm history and RBAC details to understand who changed what
Manage multiple clusters from dev to production
Even spin up a temporary cluster inside the app for testing GitOps safely
We’d love feedback — especially from platform engineers, SREs, and anyone scaling GitOps.
This is still a beta, so the rough edges are real. Curious how this approach feels to you.
