Given how pathetic the western elites are when their comeuppance arrives it will certainly be deserved. Exactly. The globalization folks fucked this one up, and for some reason they're really set on sticking to their existing losing course. The root cause seems to be too much stale 90s ideology and short-term thinking on their part. The problem with the "pathetic...western elites" getting their "comeuppance" is they'll actually make it out fine (they'll stay rich, but the rest of us will lose out more).
