Dumb question, but do you think they're trying to monetize the data?
- hnburnsy 1y agoYes, three ways minimum for GM to monetize this: subscriptions for features, telematics data gathering, ad and app revenue from third parties.
- etempleton 1y agoMonetize the data and charge a recurring subscription. My guess would be they will try the latter first and if that is not profitable enough start selling user data, and if that doesn’t work, in car ads.
