Musk overreached or miscalculated, and one of the other contenders saw the opportunity to oust him. But I don't think that contender has consolidated his hold yet, Trump's too flighty. The answer could be changing day to day, depending on which asshat manages to ambush him first (or best) as they walk to the meeting room.
