- general1465 1y agoWe could give them everything what we know and they could give us back a relativistic kill missile. No reason to try to conquer a planet if you can just extinguish a protentional threat, which luckily was naive to be useful before extinguishing.
- thrance 1y agoBut why would they send a missile if we can't possibly do them any harm? That would just risk triggering a response for no reasons.
- jay_kyburz 1y agoI'd be more concerned about some alien force moving through our part of the galaxy and we get stepped on and squashed like an ant on the pavement.
- layman51 1y agoYour comment just reminded me of a sci-fi novel called Roadside Picnic that I learned about on a different thread. Just because of that idea where aliens could come across us and not pay us any attention in the same way that a human might ignore an ant.
