So... the images used to be staged, but now they're generated? Seems like not much has changed and the onus still lies with the targeted to think critically about the motivation behind why they've been targeted. That being said, false advertising is a thing; and I think we need to enforce it in instances where people are clearly being misled intentionally.
- AnimalMuppet 1y agoGenerating is much easier than staging. So we're going to see far more fake than we used to.
- lunias 1y agoThis is true, but for the moment (big caveat - probably won't be this way forever) it's easier to distinguish the generated than the staged.
