AFAICT, AIrticles are more rambling and verbose than well written articles. Technical articles need to be concise and (surprise) highly accurate, meaning checked. Other articles need to be, as I've said of books, they are good because they (their chapters) are coherent, consistent and complete. Concise helps a lot. This requires an understanding of narrative: envisioning the goal, how pieces build towards it, attention to detail, and importantly, understanding how humans process information to create understanding and meaning. It takes one to know one.
